About The Artist

Based in northern Colorado, Alley paints both plein air and in a studio setting. She is originally from the Chicago suburbs and has also lived in Ohio and Florida.

She can’t start her day without a latte, and even has two dogs named after coffee - Macchiato and Bean.

When she’s not painting, she enjoys trying other creative pursuits and might be found making pottery, knitting, or playing piano.

When painting, she strives to slow down and enjoy the present moment more fully - to find the romance and magic in the mundane.
